If there is something you cannot afford to do and yet you anticipate that it will be an issue for a buyer, the best course of action is to get bids for the work so that you have hard data on your side about the cost of the work and the amount of the credit. Still, you will be better off doing the work, because it can affect how the buyer &quot;experiences&quot; the house and whether they feel at home there.</description>

Based on this you can offer them a credit. The idea here is you have proof on what the credit is actually worth. Anticipating offers and having a counter offer already figured out will be advantageous to you.</description>
